I hold a CACREP accredited master of arts in clinical mental health counseling from Webster University where I graduated with academic honors. I'm a board-certified counselor through the National Board for Certified Counselors (NCC #1625101), a licensed professional counselor (LPC #9636), and a licensed addiction counselor associate (LAC #897) in South Carolina. I have experience working in residential, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, and outpatient addiction treatment programs.
I believe there is no "one size fits all" method to treating clients; I will meet you where you are and I hope to guide you toward making positive changes in your life. My focus is to provide my clients with a safe environment in which they can freely share their thoughts and feelings, explore their development as a human being, and guide them in developing skills to maintain positive thinking and adaptive behaviors.
Being in active recovery, I aim to inspire and instill hope, healing, and restoration to people of all walks of life. I enjoy working with and helping individuals who have been impacted by trauma, mental health challenges, addiction, and the obstacles of life. I work from a multidisciplinary and holistic approach with an eclectic therapeutic orientation based in a person-centered, cognitive-behavioral, motivational-interviewing, and trauma-responsive philosophy.
I was born in Pueblo, CO and spent my childhood in Hilo, HI before graduating high school in Georgetown, SC and attended undergrad at the College of Charleston (Class of 2015). I currently reside in Savannah, GA. I am active in physical fitness, consider myself an adequate fantasy football player, and I cheer for Louisiana State University—Geaux Tigers!
